Cherette M White is a touring singer, recording artist and entrepreneur based in the NYC area. Her career started in Canada where she attended the University of Ottawa and enjoyed some years as a professional opera singer and recitalist with Opera Lyra Canada and the Opera Lyra Young Artist Program. She’s worked with and shared the stage with such talent as Metropolitan Opera stars Stephanie Blythe and Renee Fleming.

Here in NYC, Cherette returned to her “first loves” of Gospel, Jazz, R&B/Soul, enjoying musical appearances on MTV, Fuse TV, and Bravo TV, as well as features at popular music festivals like SXSW and the Cape Code Jazz Festival.

As of today, Cherette remains busy with an extensive performing and consulting schedule in NYC and abroad. However, her most important work and passion lies in the ministry of Praise and Worship, glorifying Jesus Christ! She served 3 years as leader of the Music Department/Praise & Worship Team at a major local Full Gospel Assembly church and is currently serving as a member of the P&W Team at House On The Rock Church in Rockaway Beach NY. Cherette continues to enjoy every opportunity to lead and teach about praise and worship throughout the region.
